Beans, peas & lentils are all part of the pulse family and are a very important part of a healthy diet.
They are high in fibre, high in protien low in fat and have no cholesterol. Organic Road has a variety of pulses in many shapes & sizes great for many different cooking applications.
Dried beans, peas and lentils are extremely versatile. They can be made into wonderful soups, infused with herbs and vegetables to make delicious curries and casseroles.
They can be sprinkled with lime juice, balsamic or other dressings and used in salads.
Beans also can be puréed and served as a dip or spread, or mashed and made into koftas.
